Sean Sheep

Has anyone else discovered the Sean Sheep range of yarn at Big W ??
They have a great range of textures and colours, and also free patterns. I made this scarf with 2 balls of “Bonnie”. At $2.97/ball…..what a bargain!
Then, this week at the local newsagents I discovered Issue 1 of Sean Sheep. Another bargain at $7.94. It has over 80 pages, beautifully photographed and heaps of patterns. Everything from beanies, scarves, shrugs, toddler trousers, bags, wraps, cushions, throws, dog coats…. Next on my list is the pom pom scarf . There is also a competition to become a knitwear designer. Also included are patterns by Melinda Brian, Jenny Dowde, Marita Haydon, Jenny King and (the woman who inspires me) Prudence Mapstone. No I don’t have shares in Big W or work there, *grin* just wanted to share. (And thanks to my friend Karin for letting me know in the first place!)
Oops, nearly forgot! As if the colours and textures weren’t enough to keep you drooling, I just love the names: alice sunset, hokitika, cassowary, jindabine, wallaroo, bonza, blink blink, big river, wooloomooloo, coral bay, brumby, and the list goes on.
