Stash Buster Bag Done

I have finished my Stash Buster Bag. Well almost. I think I will put something in the base of it to give it some shape. It is a little fuzzy but I like the effect with the style & colour of this bag.

Here it is before felting….

And after felting……..
I have also made a start on my bag for International Tote Exchange. If I remember I will take some photos next time. I started making a bag by Nicki Epstein in 2 colours of Cascade 220. Unfortunately I had problems with the pattern & didn’t feel inspired enough by it to try to work it out. So I ditched one of the colours and combined the remaining Cascade with some Noro Silk Garden. So far, so good, but I have had to order more Noro & can’t knit any more until it arrives.
In the meantime I am working on some jumpers/sweaters for new-born AIDS affected babies in Africa. Members of the Aussie Knitters group are knitting for this cause. Any Aussie knitters out there who aren’t yet a part of this group, how about you join up & help a baby or two.
