One thing I’ve realised with Ravelry & listing all my projects, is that I have suddenly got heaps of things on the needles. I used to be a monogamous knitter. I’d choose a project & knit it. When it was complete I’d look for a new project.
Not now. I couldn’t believe looking at my Ravelry just how many projects I have on the needles. I blame the internet for this frenzy. Free online patterns, blogs, KALs, swaps, podcasts, yahoo groups & Ravelry have opened a new world to me. New yarn, patterns, kits are now just a click away. But I’m not complaining…far from it; and I know looking at all the projects that I will eventually get around to finishing them all.
Autumn Rose is making slow progress after quite a few false starts. This is one project that will be of the slow & steady variety. I hope to have it completed by next Winter (which in Australia means the middle of next year).
Whereas Autumn Rose is of the slow & steady variety, the Angel Puff Scarf will (hopefully) be a quick knit. This scarf is my first project for the Yarn magazine KAL. I did a quick calculation of the number of projects & the number of days in which to knit these 8 projects & it’s looking a little unattainable at this stage, but I’ll give it my best shot.
