I’ve been adding more layers to my picture of the girl in the red scarf, lots more layers. I think it was a mistake to add the stamping in black ink & I’ve tried to cover some of it….but it’s all part of the learning process. I’m going to leave it alone for a while now, probably till after we come back from New Zealand.
Speaking of NZ..my eldest son refuses to believe it will be cold (hey, there will be snow!) and so refused to even think about wearing a beanie or hat of some kind. That was until I saw this. Yep, he agreed he would wear one if I made this for him. The pattern is available for purchase and download on Ravelry. So, a couple of days knitting & a run through the washing machine:
So, if you see this tall, lanky teenager in a Dwarven Battle Bonnet on the slopes of New Zealand, come up & say hello to his mum!
