As soon as I received my lovely green yarn I’ve been thinking about what I should make with it. Socks? Lacy mitts? A cowl, a scarf?
Naturally I turned to Ravelry to see what others had made with this yarn. At last count there were 2147 projects, wow! OK, maybe if I narrowed the search. So, I searched for patterns, then knitted patterns with a photo, in up to 300 yards of fingering weight. Hmm, 95 pages.
I’m leaning towards some kind of scarf, maybe. So I narrowed the field even more, by searching accessories, neck/torso, scarf. Yay! Now down to 248 possibilities. You’ve got to love Ravelry.
My latest idea is to combine the green with another yarn, maybe a variegated or maybe black and knit a scarf/shawlette. How about Baktus? or something by Stephen West, maybe Daybreak or Chadwick?
I’ll see what I can find in my stash tomorrow ~
BTW, don’t forget the book giveaway. You’ve got a couple more days to enter. I might even be tempted to give away 2 or even all 3 books if there are enough entries.
