I haven’t posted any finished objects for a while now. Not that there have been many that I could show here. I’ve just completed a “something” that is for publication, so that will have to stay under wraps until the magazine comes out. I’m hoping I’ve made it in time for the photoshoot for the September issue, but it’s doubtful.

Other finished objects include a Chevron scarf and my African KAL vest.

The Chevron scarf was a birthday gift for a special friend (who I’ll be telling you about in one of the ABC posts).

I knit it using Handmaiden Sea Silk in the Woodland colourway which is a lovely blend of blues, greens & browns. The pattern is the Jaywalker scarf by Jody Scofield. If you’re not a Ravelry member then you can also access the free pattern from Jody’s blog.

The Out of Africa vest I knit as part of the Jane Thornley KAL on Ravelry. You can see more of the vests here on Jane’s website.
