Freeform Progress

I decided that it was about time that I did something with the “bag of bits” I made when I went on the freeform retreat with Prudence Mapstone in August. So yesterday I got them all out & started pinning them to the template for the wrap/shawl/vest with no sides thingy I want to make.

Aargh! Look at all those ends I have to deal with. That’s the problem with making individual pieces.

My plan is to knit a few more larger pieces to fill in the big gaps, especially on the back & then start joinging them together (weaving in the ends as I go) with some crochet. Well, that’s the plan. Let’s see what happens.

I really love the colour of this piece & am keen to get it finished. It will be the largest freeform piece I have ever done.
